ITMF Officers ITMF Members Bylaws Agendas and Minutes Documents and Drafts Committees Home		Power Management Membership: Victor Babson (chair), Tommy Larson, Bradley Wolfe, Mark Cherry Charge: Evaluate and recommend power saving strategies associated with desktop, laptop and other end-user IT equipment at the University of Georgia. Points to be considered for review include but are not limited to: Low power computing hardware Utilizing virtualization technology to replace end-user hardware with dumb clients Review of PPD initiative to automatically shut-down computers at specific times Best practices guide for power management (could include:) Desktop power management features: Auto power off monitor, hard disks, computers Deliverables and Deadlines: Create and file plan to complete the charges via email to ITMF Chair and Vice Chair Report progress on bi-weekly basis to ITMF Chair and Vice Chair via email Submit recommendations and findings to ITMF for consideration by June 10th (12 weeks) Documents: Power Management Project Plan Power Management Process Flowchart Final Report
